KANHA TRIP
kanha kisli trip
7 June 2018 me with my some friends headed towards kanha national park, Kanha National Park, also known as Kanha Tiger Reserve, is a vast expanse of grassland and forest in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Tigers, jackals and wild pigs can be spotted in Kanha Meadows. The elevated plateau of Bamhnidadar is home to birds of prey. Animals often gather at the watering holes of Sondar Tank and Babathenga Tank. The park’s flora and fauna are documented in the park’s Kanha Museum.
Spread across 940 sq.km, Kanha National Park is one of the largest
parks in Madhya Pradesh where the majestic royal Bengal tigers are found
in good numbers.
The Park is respected globally for saving the Barasingha from near extinction. No doubt, it is one of the best managed parks in Asia and a part of Project Tiger. National Geographic’s award winning ‘Land of the Tigers’ was shot here, but the park is home to leopards, wild dogs and Barasingha as well.
A safari in Kanha will surely get you thrilled, the way you were on your first trip to the zoo, as a child.

Best Time to Visit Kanha National Park
Every year Kanha National Park is open for visitors from the 15th of October to till 30th of June. As per the climate of Central part of India, the peak season for Kanha National Park is during winters, say October to March. Most of the tourists visit the park between November and March, mainly because the summer’s heat is unbearable. The period between November and February is excellent for visiting Kanha national park as the rain fall during monsoon rejuvenated all the nature & vegetation. Particularly this period is best for bird watching. A lot of migratory birds visit the park during the winter months. During the time period from March to May most of the vegetation at Kanha National Park gets dried & Tiger Sighting is relatively easier than it is in winters. The month of March is the best month for wildlife viewing and the temperature is not very high however Months of April & May provide a great & almost sure opportunity to Wildlife Photographers specially who are looking for some rare photographs of the largest member of cat family.Hotels & Resorts in Kanha National Park
